I have 20+ years of management and hands-on experience in the area of audience measurement, advertising and media research. My expertise spans across Audience Research (TV, Radio, Digital, Cross-Media), Advertising and Big Data analytics. Over the course of my vast career I have worked in over 20 countries on 4 continents, including Canada, US, Brazil, UK, Ireland, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Baltics, Russia, Romania, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Israel, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Mongolia … to name a few. I have been fortunate to collaborate with a variety of clients, including Media Owners, JICs, and Media Agencies, such as Google, Liberty Global, Mediascope, ARMA, Medaicom, Mediapulse, MTG, RTL, Finnpanel, CME, Discovery, Disney, NRK, Danish Radio, etc. I have a multicultural knowledge and sensitivities required to manoeuvre in complex technical and political environments.

    Responsible for international business strategy and developing and launching new businesses in the area of media research globally. Planning, organising and leading industry tenders. Strategic partnership responsibilities. Negotiations on C-level. Involved in Product Portfolio Management and Innovation.

    ·        Worked on various TV and Radio Audience Measurement tenders and projects; instrumental at winning: Canada, Norway, Denmark, Israel, Romania and Uzbekistan. Also worked on the following markets: UK, Czech Rep., Iceland, Macedonia, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine and Poland.   

    ·        Successfully project managed and launched complex media services (industry standard) in Georgia, Finland and Baltics.

    ·        Project coordination of innovative Return Path Data Proof-of-Concept for Numeris, Canada.

    ·        Led pioneering Kantar-Google partnership project to enhance TV and video industry data in Brazil.  

    ·        Overall responsibility for two Kantar key client accounts – Mediascope (Russia) and Finnpanel (Finland).    

    ·        Since 2018, responsible for a Product team based in Sao Paulo, Brazil (remote-style management).

    Responsible for delivering business strategy and business development globally, in the area of media research and audience measurement. It required strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, cross-functional team leadership and project coordination on an international level.

    ·        Successfully project coordinated the launch of a complex audience measurement service in Switzerland.

    ·        Pioneered first audience measurement service in Mongolia.   

    ·        Instrumental at winning TAM tender renewals in Slovakia and Romania.  

    ·        Responsible for MTG account (key client) on a global level.   

    ·        Board Member of the Romanian and the Swiss Kantar offices.

    Helped to develop TV (TAM) and Radio audience measurement (RAM) services in markets around the globe.

    ·        Worked on TAM/RAM tender documents, budgets and pitch presentations, including tenders in Canada (for Numeris), Romania (for ARMA), Ireland, instrumental at winning Canada and Romania.

    ·        Involved in various commercial aspects of TAM/RAM projects, especially client servicing, promoting company’s reporting software, training of local staff in markets like US, Slovakia, Romania, Baltics.    

    ·        Responsible for MTG account (key client) on a global level.

    Head of Advertising Intelligence (Ad Monitoring) department, managing a team of 25+ (client service, operations, quality control), reporting directly to company's CEO. Clients included Czech TV Broadcasters, Media Agencies and Brand Owners. 

    In 1996, briefly assumed CEO responsibilities for ACNielsen/Amer operation in Slovakia.
